Families are arriving in our border region desperate for our help. They have traveled hundreds, if not thousands of miles to flee extreme conditions that imperil their survival.
Immigration authorities are releasing these families and giving them the right to live in the U.S. while they await the outcome of their application for asylum.
These men, women and children are being dropped off with nothing more than the clothes on their back. They urgently need money to be able to unite with family members elsewhere in the country.
Our faith community is collecting funds to pay for these families’ bus and airline tickets and other immediate transportation needs.
As people of faith, we are compelled to welcome the stranger. In addition to keeping them in your prayers, your donation today can have a big impact in the lives of these vulnerable families.
